In line with legalizing the recreational use of Marijuana, Canadian Government, Marijuana Usage Stats will be initiated in a creative approach.
As per Monique Scotti, National Online Journalist of Global News, the Statistics Canada will be undertaking a Wastewater study in a somewhat creative approach to find out the amount of pot that Canadians are consuming after Marijuana will be legalized for recreational use this summer 2018.
This approach may test the wastewater being flush down the toilet bowl. In this methodology, the Canadian Government can collect significant data as a reference for the Wastewater study.

The Canadian Government plans for marijuana legalization are slowly becoming a realization. According to CBC news, Bill C-45, or the Cannabis Act, is now at its second phase of reading in the Senate, and federal legislation legalizing the use of marijuana for recreational use and sale is assumed to be done this summer 2018.
Heaps of the details of what “legalization” will entail have been left to the provinces of Canada, including licensures and monitoring of the production, sale, and distribution of marijuana.
The proposed Cannabis Act would create a strict legal framework for controlling the production, distribution, sale, and possession of cannabis across Canada.
Aside from legalizing the recreational use of Marijuana, Canada was actually the first nation to legalize Medical Cannabis use back in 2001 after the Canadian Court of Appeals declared and publicized medical marijuana prohibition not illegal.
According to NIDA (National Institute on Drug Abuse) a scientific study of the chemicals in marijuana, called cannabinoids, has led to two FDA-approved medications that contain cannabinoid chemicals in pill form.
Succeeding research may lead to more discoveries on the medicinal benefits of marijuana. Because the marijuana plant contains chemicals that may help treat a bunch of diseases.
Other Cannabis-infused products, such as edibles, would be made available to the Canadian market for purchase once conducive rules for their production, distribution and sale are made.
If the Cannabis Act (2018) will be approved by Parliament, the bill could become law with a target date of no later than July 2018, and buying weed in Canada will be accessible not only for medicinal but also for recreational use.
