What is CBD?
CBD also known as Cannabinoids is one of the main compounds that can be found in the cannabis plant. CBD can be found in the hemp plant. This plant is normally the least processed form of cannabis as hemp farmers have not modified the plant. These plants are used to create CBD Oil. CBD is not psychoactive meaning it does not change the state of mind of the user. Although it does not change the state of mind of the user, there may be significant changes in the body. Reducing Chronic Pain
Some people have felt that CBD offers a more natural way to lower pain compared to conventional medications. Others have found it to provide anti-inflammatory properties

Reduces Cigarette Consumption in Tobacco Smokers
There was some promising results that CBD could potentially help people reduce the amount of cigarettes smoked which can help them quit smoking. Preliminary findings from Morgan. CJ. and others, found that smokers who used an inhaler containing CBD when feeling the urge to smoke, had smoked fewer cigarettes than people who had placebo inhalers.
There has been many videos and stories of CBD oil helping patients who suffer from epilepsy. Results on a study done by Devinsky and colleagues on animal and human subjects found that CBD is ‘anticonvulsant in many acute animal models but there is limited data in chronic models’ (Devinsky, 2014). Although this study has found it inconclusive in human models, many videos have surfaced the internet with patients and even parents treating their children with epilepsy.
A study done by Esther Blessing and a couple other researchers have had results of CBD reducing anxiety felt by people with certain anxiety disorders.
